To join one of the "Heritage Guard Club" activities organized by the Turathuna Foundation, please choose the appropriate age category and fill out the corresponding form. Activities include intensive workshops and cultural paths within the Old City of Homs.
1. Heritage Guard Club for Teens
This workshop is aimed at teenagers.
Required Information: Full name, mother’s name, date of birth, contact details, school information, residence, number of siblings, languages, skills, and reasons for joining.
Parental Consent: A parent or guardian must sign an approval form allowing the teenager to participate in all activities, interviews, and cultural paths.
Workshop Focus: Participants are asked to provide information about a favorite building in Homs, an archaeological site, a traditional craft, and a short story from their grandparents about Old Homs.
2. Heritage Guard Club for Youth
The workshops are usually held at the Foundation's headquarters in Homs First Theater in the Bustan al-Diwan neighborhood, Ghassan Street.
Required Information: Full name, mother’s name, date of birth, contact details, university year and major, residence, number of siblings, languages, skills, and reasons for joining.
Requirements: Sign the consent form to participate in all activities and confirm the desire to join the Heritage Guard Club for Youth after the workshop concludes.
Workshop Focus: Participants must write about an archaeological site in Old Homs, a traditional craft, a childhood game played by ancestors, and a short story about Old Homs.
3. Heritage Guard Club for Women
Designed for women (ages 40–65) at the Foundation’s headquarters in Homs First Theater.
Goal: To empower women and develop entrepreneurial skills to establish small, income-generating heritage projects.
Required Information: Personal data, education level, skills, previous experience, and an initial project idea if available.
Workshop Focus: Participants are asked to share information about an archaeological site, a traditional craft, a childhood game, and a memory/story from Old Homs.
