At Turathuna Foundation, we believe that volunteering is for everyone, regardless of age or background. We invite passionate individuals to join our mission of preserving cultural heritage through selfless service and community contribution.

Understanding Our Volunteer Policy

Before applying, please note the following essential guidelines governing our volunteer relationships:

  • Voluntary Basis: This is a strictly voluntary role; the Foundation is not obligated to provide any financial compensation for volunteer work.
  • Expense Reimbursement: The Foundation may provide allowances to cover expenses incurred while performing volunteer services. These are not to be considered a salary, fixed wage, or payment for services under any circumstances.
  • Relationship Nature: There is no relationship of supervision or subordination between the volunteer and the Foundation. Our connection is based on mutual good faith to achieve the goals for which the Foundation was established.
  • Commitment: Volunteers are expected to commit to all instructions issued by the Foundation and are required to take all necessary actions to protect the Foundation's reputation.

How to Apply

To join our team of volunteers, please fill out the official Volunteer Application Form. The application requires:

  • Personal Information: Including full name, mother's name, nationality, date of birth, national ID, and contact details.
  • Emergency Contact: Including blood type and designated emergency contact information.
  • Academic & Professional Background: Details regarding your educational certificates, language proficiency, and history of volunteering or employment with other organizations.
  • Skills & Interests: We encourage you to specify your availability and the tasks you can perform effectively.

Areas Where We Need Your Skills

We are looking for volunteers with talents in various operational and creative areas, including:

  • Technical: Computer skills, online form design, website design, data collection, and data transcription.
  • Creative & Media: Photography, video editing, poster design, and social media management.
  • Administrative: Event coordination and organization, as well as PowerPoint and Word file formatting.
  • Linguistic: Translation of articles and posts.
