Turathuna Art - When Heritage Becomes a Part of Everyday Life
Driven by the Turathuna Foundation’s belief that preserving heritage extends far beyond restoring physical stones, we recognize the vital importance of reviving traditional crafts and our local visual identity. To realize this vision, we launched Turathuna Art—a creative space where art, craftsmanship, and sustainability converge. Here, elements of Syrian heritage are transformed into beautifully crafted products that embody the spirit of the place and tell its stories.
The project aims to support traditional artisans, promote local cultural identity, and encourage heritage-inspired artistic production. By offering items inspired by the visual memory of Homs and the wider Syrian landscape, we present our rich history in contemporary forms perfectly suited for modern daily life.

- Hama Block Printing: Beautiful designs inspired by traditional Hama wooden printing blocks, created under the expert guidance of local artisans. This initiative plays a crucial role in reviving a unique artisanal legacy and reintroducing it with a contemporary flair.
- Eco-Friendly Fabric Bags: Reusable tote bags that beautifully merge environmental consciousness with our cultural heritage. The collection features bags embellished with exquisite Aghabani embroidery, alongside others showcasing prints inspired by the Hama block printing works of expert artist Boutros Al-Maari, creating a perfect union of beauty and sustainability.
