Rediscover Homs Through the Second Bab Al Souq Trail

Following the success of the previous heritage walk through Bab Al Souq, the Turathuna Foundation is pleased to invite the public to participate in the second Bab Al Souq Trail, as part of the Sun Trails Project.

Organized in cooperation with the University of Homs, the Homs Tourism Directorate, and the Homs Heritage Markets Committee, this new trail offers another opportunity to explore the historic heart of Homs Old City and to discover the stories, landmarks, and architectural character that have shaped its identity over generations.

The trail takes participants on a cultural journey through Bab Al Souq, one of the historic gateways and vibrant areas of Homs al-Adiya, inviting them to look beyond the physical fabric of the city and reconnect with the memories, traditions, and community life embedded within its streets and markets.

Through the Sun Trails Project, Turathuna continues to create opportunities for the community to rediscover Homs through its neighborhoods, landmarks, and stories, while encouraging a deeper appreciation of the city's cultural and urban heritage.
